Good arch support, nice thick soles... not your usual flip flop! The velcro gripper across the top stays put and easily adjustable. This is my second pair. They last forever. I play pickup at the gym, usually two on two or three on three, and these shoes are great for that. The gym floor is rarely swept but these have great grip on the courts. The cushioning in the heel has done wonders for my knees as my old shoes were worn out but these have greatly reduced the pain from playing.
